You will not find a comparable tool for twice the price. PS: I just figured out the Notes feature. This is the Bible app you need. The study helps are second to none.

I have found this app to be very functional and helpful. Being able to easily and quickly compare different translations has been very revealing about different passages; often Ill leave translations in the original language off to the right and if I want to see its literal translation I have it right there. Complete color changes helps fix your mood as you read. Highly suggest it for anybody who wants to truly study Gods Word.

Ive used this app for a couple years now, and it keeps getting better. Quick navigation, refinement of searches, and all the study tools help during moments of confusion while studying. Great app!

The HOLY BIBLE app, by Paul Avery, is a tremendous blessing! So many tools packed into such a small device, it really makes studying Gods WORD on-the-go, easy and fun. The commentaries, Hebrew & Greek conconrdances, references, and notes, helps you find the deeper meaning of verses so you can see more of WHO JESUS IS!!! What a blessing!!!

The latest revision actually dropped this program from a good app to relatively good. One of the key new bad decisions was to put the bookmark tab behind the scene and make you swipe to get to the bookmark tabbed chapters. When you select a bookmark it is anyones guess as to which of your bookmarks it will go to. Eventually on the second or third try it will get you to the right chapter. Overall though it is simple to use and many good features.

I have used this app for years (since iPhone 2, now on 6). I have purchased every available study tool offered, & now have become very disappointed with this app. It incessantly stalls, locks up, crashes, & no longer works effectively. As I read through other reviews, I see that I am not the first to experience issues. I will be purchasing a more reliable app.

Ive used this app for a really long time and I love it but one of the more recent updates removed the verse numbers from the text and the only way to find them is the jump to verse thing, which doesnt work for the verses at the bottom of the page because it cant scroll any lower. Really annoying...

Easy to use, saves data across devices, great study tools at a great in app purchase price.

Since the last update, Im unable to download this app to my iPad.

This opens fast! It works, have faith and learn how to use the interface you will like it once you do. Thank you so very much for making this, keep improving and fine tuning brother!!!

I like the off line Bible and reading plans, the auto scroll, customization features and NET notes + other cool study helps. There have been glitches but support has been good and they get fixed eventually. If you want multiple versions and audio Bibles youll have to get a separate app for those.

I have been Gods holy word for 49 plus years & have 3 different bibles loaded on my phone & this app. Is my go to app. 98% of the time I love it thanks so much, KMH

This app has been my go to bible for studying scripture and daily use since my first iPhone. It has easy to use setup with lots of features and tools. I use the Strongs Concordance and verse comparison quite often, and there are many other helpful tools and maps for free use. I highly recommend this app!

Ive used this Ap as my primary Bible for many years and have seen many changes. Overall, I love this app and have recommend it many times. Unfortunately, the last couple of updates have made the app somewhat unstable as it has been crashing more than ever. For example, after completing the daily reading for a given day the system locks. It then has to be closed as it will not return to the main Bible application. Also, this is the third time Ive gone through the one year reading program. In previous times (if memory serves) the daily reading would go directly to the next appropriate book and chapter until completed for that day. Now you have to go back to the daily reading program to select the next section to read as it applies to anther book. After the last chapter is completed it locks as stated earlier.

Hidden left side tools. Yeah. Annoying how study tools have to be redownloaded, but minor in grand scheme of things. Would like original, translated close to original Septuagint New Testament and Hebrew Old Testament translation. Less of the mucky-mucking contemporary translations with bad sources and bad wording they do.

This is the BEST Bible app EVER !! I sent Paul an email because the upgrade totally confused me. He graciously answered very promptly and reminded me that he sent a tutorial with the upgrade. If youre like me , I skipped over it. I just could not figure out how to change the translation. He sent me to you tube to watch the Holy Bible Tutorial. Voila! Problem solved! All I had to do was hold the tab over the book , and it opened to the list of Bibles to pick from. I heartily recommend viewing that tutorial again!!

The study tools are soooo worth investing in, they help to understand and absorb what the context is, especially if you teach on the bible, they help immensely.

Ive always loved the parallel translation and multi-lingual functions, but now Im blown away by the interlinear, parsing, and concordance features to name a few. Having it all in one place in the device Im carrying around daily anyway is transformative for daily study. Thank you for your work on this!
